Place a Hold

There are three ways to place a hold on an item.

1. Place a hold online after signing into your account in the CWMARS catalog. Online assistance is available at CWMARS Holds Help.
2. Email your request to meekinsbooks@cwmars.org. Include the following: Your Name and Library card number
   1. FORMAT desired
      1. Print (Regular print, Large Print, periodical, etc)
      2. Sound Recording (Book on CD, music CD)
      3. DVD or Bluray
      4. Other - specify
   2. TITLE
   3. AUTHOR
   4. ISBN #
3. Call the library at 413-268-7472. If nobody is available to take your call, leave message.

Renew an Item

Checked-out items that are eligible for renewal will automatically renew on their due date. An email notification will be sent on the due date alerting you that a renewal has been attempted for your items. Check the body of the email to find out whether your items were successfully renewed or if they were unable to be renewed.

It is possible to renew an item before the due date, either in your online account or by calling the library at 413-268-7472.

Note: there are limited renewals available on items. If you have reached the limit of allowed renewals, they will not renew automatically and cannot be renewed online. You must contact your local library.

Digital items will not renew automatically. Be sure to renew them when prompted, if you wish to keep them for an additional 2 weeks.
