How to Participate
- Decide on if you are making a mild or hot salsa. Gather and notate your ingredients! Our community tasting event is on August 22, 2026, so plan your cooking accordingly to keep everything fresh.
- Bring your salsa and a list of ingredients to one of our drop-off dates at Meekins Library.
- Thursday, August 20, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Friday, August 21, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- At drop-off, complete a registration form and attach your ingredient list. Your salsa container will be labeled with an entry number and refrigerated until the community tasting on Saturday, August 22, from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM.
- Winners will be notified the following week. Containers and prizes can be claimed during open library hours.
