Join us for our community salsa tasting, where you’ll sample a variety of homemade salsas and cast your vote for your favorites in two categories: Mild and Hot. Celebrate local talent, discover new recipes, and help judge this year’s salsa competition by tasting and voting for your favorite entries.
Drop into Meekins Library anytime between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 22. Everyone is welcome, and all ages are encouraged to attend! Tasting is available on a first-come, first-served basis while entries last, so be sure to arrive early for the best selection.
By participating in the community salsa tasting, participants acknowledge that contestants have made every effort to accurately list the ingredients in their entries. However, because the salsas are prepared in home kitchens, cross-contamination with allergens is possible. Participants understand and voluntarily assume any risks associated with consuming these homemade food items.
