Terry Tangredi Art Reception
April 11 @ 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Join us for an art reception to celebrate and remember Terry Tangredi.
Terry Tangredi began painting in the last decade of her 66 years of life. For Terry painting was a very peaceful, quiet experience. She painted mostly for herself. But if her art could bring joy to others, then she would savor that as well. At heart, Terry’s art was a chance to be centered, calm and tranquil and also to explore a new venue.
Terry’s home was a work of art, and her painting was a natural extension of that. She brought the same creativity and love of beauty to all that she did, whether it was the way she cooked an extraordinary meal, hand-cultivated gardens, or transcribed and composed her observations into paintings. Terry was a true artist.
Terry was a devoted healer, acupuncturist, horticulturalist, and cook. She had an adventurous spirit, and appreciated natural beauty, enjoying walking tours of Ireland, hiking the Smoky Mountains, cross-country skiing nearby, and just walking the rural byways of her very own town.
