As we wind down from this 125th year, grateful for all our years in the community, the Meekins Library wishes the best of the season to all townsfolk, friends, and neighbors near and far.

Outside there may be snow and rain, but inside the library is warm and toasty. The fireplace is festooned with lights, seasonal books are displayed ready to be read in a cozy chair, and the Tomtens are gazing down from a high shelf—taking in all the Library activity. Outside, an evergreen wreath graces the old wooden Library door. The little fir trees on the big steps have already been covered with snow. Meekins shines in the moonlight and the snow light. Snow has come and gone and will come again. This season, Meekins, is ready to warmly welcome everybody on a winter’s day. Come find a good book to curl up with. The Meekins is here from December 27th, 28th, 29th and 31st so you can start the new year on reading adventure.
