All Hallows’ Eve—and the moon will be full! This blue moon (that is, the second full moon in the same month) will be visible on Halloween around the globe—for the first time since 1944! Will you venture a moonlight walk up Village Hill at midnight? Will you stop at the town’s first burial ground, Old Village Hill Cemetery (established in 1773) and look at the stones of the town’s earliest families? Will you cross the road to the “New” Village Hill Cemetery and remember the 13 victims of the Mill River Disaster of 1874 who were buried there? Will you have an adventure “once in a blue moon”? #throwbackthursday #TBT
