Grow a love of reading from the beginning with 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten!
1,000 Books is an ongoing program. Sign your child up at any time, as long as they are aged 0-5 and have not yet started kindergarten. Every child receives a special book tote, a free book, and a fun and easy tracking sheet.
Does your kiddo ask for the Exact. Same. Book. over and over, night after night? You can count that same book every time you read it! You’ll be at 1,000 books in no time.
Kids old enough to appreciate stickers and small prizes can bring their reading log in every time they read another 100 books to get some big librarian cheers and little tokens of accomplishment.
