Through the Director’s office and down the creepy staircase to the stone and dirt basement you went—if you wanted to find the bathroom at Meekins before the 2003 library expansion and renovation. Descending into the semi-darkness all alone—the sound of your own footsteps on those metal steps made you jump! Spiderwebs, creaky noises, twists and turns, the beastly furnace—who knew what you would find there!! Three cheers for post-renovation plumbing! And our beautifully transformed community library. Did you have a Meekins basement adventure? Daria D’Arienzo, Meekins Archivist and post renovation photographer. #throwbackthursday ,#tbt
